When I'm not in the clinic (which is never): I'm lifting weights, boxing, reading a book at a coffee shop.I love personal development stuff, training, UFC, NBA and NFL Fantasy Football. I'm a chocolate and sushi addict.

I bring with me 9 years of experience in the field of Physiotherapy. Having Graduated  with excellent academic record and a GOLD Medal in 2007, I started my journey as a Physiotherapist in Asian Heart Institute and research center where i worked as an Acute care therapist for 2 years. During this phase i was able to assosciate with some of the brightest minds in the field of Cardio-respiratory and together we  helped many patients to return to their activities of daily living after undergoing Cardiac surgeries and suffering from lung problems like Asthma and COPD.  It was in 2009 that i got a chance to work with Dr. Abhay Nene, Spine Surgeon, a Pioneer in the filed of Spine health in Mumbai, India. Since then, I have successfully treated many clients who suffered with Spine problems.  Since then, I have attended to many clients presenting with various musculoskeletal injuries. By using a combination of Manual therapy skills (Mobilizations, Myofascial release); Tailor made exercise prescriptions (Postural correction and prevention programs, Post surgical rehab, Return to work and work hardening programs) and additional tools like Kinesiotaping, I have been able to cater to many clients with various musculoskeletal and Neurological issues. Over the course of last 9 years, i have done several workshops and training to treat clients with Vestibular problems, and foot issues.  I got a advanced certification in Spinal Manipulation therapy recently  to widen my scope of practice and give the best possible experience to my current and future clients. Since moving to Canada, I have been fortunate to be part of a wonderful team of Chiropractors and Registered Massage therapists at Yorkdale wellness clinic.  We pride ourselves in giving one of the best one on one treatments and advice thereby helping the people in the community to lead a healthy and injury free lifestyle. Outside of work, i enjoy Cycling and keeping myself fit. I love exploring new cities on my Bike.

Dr. Taylor Pratile graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Physical Health and Education from Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU). While at WLU he was a member of the varsity football team. Dr. Pratile then went on to further his passion for health care, graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Currently he looks to continue his rehabilitation knowledge while completing his Master of Science (MSc) degree from McMaster University’s School of Rehabilitation Science.

Having been heavily involved with competitive sports, Dr. Pratile’s clinical focus is injury management and prevention. He utilizes multiple therapeutic approaches, primarily active rehabilitation techniques. In addition, Dr. Pratile is passionate about concussion and post-concussion education and management, of which he is actively involved in research through his MSc.

Dr. Pratile provides acupuncture, athletic taping, muscle release techniques, cupping and rehabilitation services. To improve stubborn injuries such as tennis elbow and plantar fasciitis, he provides shockwave therapy.

Dr. Pratile maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys playing basketball, volleyball, squash, football and weight lifting. He is frequently spotted walking his dog at Sunnybrook Park.

Stacey Grigsby has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2008 and Low Intensity Laser Therapist Since 2009. She is fairly active in the sports scene, therefore allowing her to connect well with her clients with sports injuries. Stacey enjoys treatment based therapies but is willing and able to provide relaxation massage as well. Stacey has experience with clients of all ages, physical abilities or disabilities and pre/post natal massage. Stacey has worked at Yorkdale Wellness Clinic since 2009.

Jacqueline is a graduate of the Massage Therapy program at Centennial College. She is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario. With over 8 years of clinical experience; which includes University of Toronto doing various pre and post sport's massage; Fibromyalgia clinic at Centennial College; Variety Village working with the elderly as well as disabled clients and Rosalie Hall working with prenatal massage. In addition to Swedish Massage Techniques, Jacqueline is also trained in various modalities of massage therapy such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, low grade joint mobilizations and remedial exercises. Her focus is not limited to relaxation but rehabilitation and maintenance of client's joints and muscle and believes that it is a collaborative effort between the client and therapist to achieve goals set by the clients. Jacqueline has been treating a wide variety of conditions including repetitive strain injuries; tendonitis, chronic pain, sports injuries, low back pain, daily stresses and tension headaches.   Having participated in basketball for the past 20 years, Jacqueline understands the importance of maintaining her own healthy active lifestyle by participating in walk- a- thons for charities, exercising on a regular basis and weightlifting. She believes a therapeutic relationship should involve respect and compassion in an open-minded, non- judgmental environment. It is essential to recognize the importance of maintaining a healthy body, physically as well as mentally. Massage Therapy treatments will help every help every client restore their abilities and guide them to reach their optimum health and recovery.

Although Kimberly Nguyen is a RMT from Medix College, it is her positive energy that is a part of her therapy. Kimberly believes that in order to stay positive, you need to let go and relax.

She can perform swedish massage, manual lymph drainage, trigger point therapy, stretch techniques and joint mobilizations but her favourite is deep tissue. Through her training in cranial sacral therapy, she has specialized in head and neck issues, ranging from whiplash to degenerated disc disorder. she is also trained in indie scalp massage, which helps relieve tension in the scalp due to headaches or head trauma. Kimberly strives to help patients maintain balance between the body and mind. listening to what the body needs will put the mind at ease.

I have been in the physical rehab field in the past 10 years, starting as an assistant therapist back in Japan.  After graduating school for massage therapy in 2010 from Fleming College, I have primarily focused on Fascial release technique, dynamic tape (Sports taping) as well as TMJ: temporomandibular joint (Jaw joint) treatment, where I worked closely to local dental offices.    
In my free time, you will most likely find me playing with my dog, gardening in the summer, and being active in general.  Active life style has always been a part of my life ever since I was a child.  Swimming, yoga, running and traditional martial art (Kendo) are my passion and where my heart lies! 

My core desire as a therapist is to improve people’s quality of life through manual therapy, so that you can thrive and not just survive, so you can enjoy life instead of resting and recovering from daily stress or pain on weekends.   I want my clients to be able to strive in their lives as they wish.    
My mission (and passion) here is to help you to get to where you want to be in your health and wellness goals. Throughout the process, I will give you the tools to achieve those goals. Your success in health is my reward!

After 20 years in client service and a diploma in Business Administration from Seneca College, Rubena finally took the jump to pursue her dream of becoming a Registered Massage Therapist.  A Graduate from Sutherland – Chan, Rubena has experienced working with a variety of patient presentations including Cerebral Palsy, Parkinsons Disease, scoliosis, sports related injuries, palliative, pregnancy and seniors.  She also had the opportunity to work with patients post breast cancer reconstructive surgery and excessive scar work.  Rubena is now looking forward to continue increasing her knowledge and experience with the team and patients at Yorkdale Wellness Clinic.

Gielyn is a registered TCM Practitioner & Acupuncturist primarily based out of Hamilton. The world of alternative & complimentary medicine was not introduced to her until her last year at McMaster University. Prior to graduation she had aspirations to pursue a career in Naturopathy but switched gears when Chinese Medicine intrigued her more. 4 years later she is a graduate from the Advanced program at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In her spare time when she is not poking patients she is currently enjoying the joys of motherhood & travelling.
