Dr. Taylor Pratile graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Physical Health and Education from Wilfrid Laurier University (WLU). While at WLU he was a member of the varsity football team. Dr. Pratile then went on to further his passion for health care, graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Currently he looks to continue his rehabilitation knowledge while completing his Master of Science (MSc) degree from McMaster University’s School of Rehabilitation Science.
Having been heavily involved with competitive sports, Dr. Pratile’s clinical focus is injury management and prevention. He utilizes multiple therapeutic approaches, primarily active rehabilitation techniques. In addition, Dr. Pratile is passionate about concussion and post-concussion education and management, of which he is actively involved in research through his MSc.
Dr. Pratile provides acupuncture, athletic taping, muscle release techniques, cupping and rehabilitation services. To improve stubborn injuries such as tennis elbow and plantar fasciitis, he provides shockwave therapy.
Dr. Pratile maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys playing basketball, volleyball, squash, football and weight lifting. He is frequently spotted walking his dog at Sunnybrook Park.
