Chiropractic

Chiropractors help everyone, including newborns, children, adolescents, pregnant patients, and seniors.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture has a growing interest and curiosity in the general public today than ever before. This ancient healing therapy is extremely effective in a majority of conditions and is used alone or in combination with other therapies. Acupuncture is a centuries-old healing therapy that has been practiced throughout Asia for thousands of years.

Custom Orthotics
Custom Foot Orthotics are inserts, custom to your feet, that are placed in your footwear designed to correct and improve your structure and overall mechanical function. Yorkdale Wellness utilizes Gait Scan Technology to assess the foot in dynamic motion by taking measurements based on how your foot moves.

Patient Information
Appointments can be booked through our website, email, or by phone. Please advise us of relevant health conditions at the time of booking and when filling out your health history form so that our providers can offer an experience tailored to your specific needs.
In addition to your confirmation email, you will receive a reminder email 2 days prior to your appointment and 24 hrs before if you request a text or call reminder.
Yes, most private insurances allow us to bill them directly, on your behalf for your treatments. Any co-payments and or deductibles will be due on the day of the appointment.
Some Insurances may not allow direct billing. In that case, you will be billed directly and Yorkdale Wellness will provide you with a detailed statement to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
In cases where the payment is assigned to the member, we can collect the payment and submit your claims on your behalf so that you can receive reimbursement.
Most of the insurance companies do not require a doctor’s referral to access our services as all of them are considered to be primary care health professionals.
However, some insurances may require a doctor’s referral for the services to be covered. Please check with your extended health carrier to find out if you are required to have one to receive benefits.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours or more prior to your appointment time. You may email, call or leave us a voicemail.
Missed appointments or appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a cancellation fee.
WSIB Claims
Yorkdale Wellness Clinic is registered with WSIB and will receive reimbursement directly from WSIB for services provided.
Prior to beginning treatments under a WSIB claim, the worker must register a claim with the WSIB or file an incident report with their workplace manager/supervisor. Please speak to our receptionist for more information.
